The Merrie Monarch Festival happens once a year on the Big of Hawaii. The festival starts on Easter Sunday and is continued on with craft fairs and Hawaiian cultural demonstrations such as Hula dancing. At the festival, hundreds of hula dancers compete with one another to see who is the best hula dancer. From modern day Hawaiian clothing we also have traditional Hawaiian Muumuu's.
